My Racing Workshop is both well established and sought after. I have had people from all over the world come to them.
I will spend the day cramming in as much detail as possible. Starting with the foundations that every good trader needs. Then building on that the signals that I use to assess a market and use them to understand and identify runners that may move and in which direction.
The day is informal. fun and unambiguous. I will
My Racing Workshops are currently all at the Village Hotel in Coventry. Although I aim to change this for 2020 and take the workshops around the Country.
Starting at 9:00am and finishing at 5:00pm
The hotel has fantastic facilities and is very reasonable if you book far enough in advance. There are often special deals to be had and I can give you a discount code to gain a 20% discount. Before we start you can get a hot or cold beverage, and while we are together throughout the day beverages and a nice hot/cold buffet meal is provided for you.
Meet and Greet:
One of my traditions is the Sunday night “meet and greet”. I corner off an area of the bar so I can meet anybody who is saying at the hotel the evening before. A great opportunity for us to get to know each other and have a chat and a beer. Even better is the opportunity for you to meet other traders that are just like you. Some great friendships have been forged over the years at these events. It’s informal and drinking is not required if that is not your thing.
What will we cover in more detail
Starting gently we cover all of the things you should consider as good practice.
We will cover set up and how your trading screen should look to capture the signals that drive the market.
We will then look at these signals. What they look like, where we find them, how they behave and what they mean.
Then use them to find Lay and Back trades. Both how to find an entry and exit.
Using this knowledge we will practice on some pre-recorded markets to ensure every possible angle is covered.
During the day an atmosphere that encourages questions is fostered. No question goes unanswered. I think I coined the phrase “There is no such thing as a stupid question”. But believing it, and creating an environment where people feel safe to ask anything is quite unique.
Make no bones about it. profitable Pre-race trading is not easy as many will have you believe. But it IS achievable. With knowledge, determination and discipline, it can be done.
Attending a workshop will get you started on the right path, and give you the best chance of success.
