Racing Preview Video

Guys I find myself being affected badly to what I have been watching on Tv over the past hours about the young Soldier who was slain in Woolwich. I am feeling very emotional, sad and extremely angry. I cannot stop thinking about it and have decided to take the day off.

This is key in trading. If you cannot concentrate 100% on what you are doing you will lose.

I just want to say if any of you reading this has a family member or friend in the Armed Forces, please let them know that we appreciate all they do for us so much. I hold them in the highest regard possible. I also want to say that I don’t think this has anything to do with the vast majority of the decent British Muslims who live in peace and respect alongside us.

If any of you have made any money from taking my advice or learning anything from my blog, and want to contribute something back, please donate a couple of £ to Help For Heros. I will be donating whatever I make tomorrow to them.

Sorry about the video, I am sure you understand.

  1. Mate, fully understand. It has got a huge amount of press here on the other side of the world in Australia, I can only imagine how much it has saturated British media. Keep well buddy….

  2. The images we have seen have impressed me. There is no single reason in the world that can justify such a gesture. This is just madness. I agree with your choice and I hope that sooner or later will end this hatred.
A thought goes to the young soldier who was brutally murdered.

    Greetings to all

  3. I will be making a donation to Help the Heroes, my thoughts are with this soldiers family at this truly terrible time, its very sad!
I Totally respect to our armed forces and the fantastic work they do!!

  4. Kudos to you MG.

The scenes yesterday were nothing short of vile. Thoughts go out to the family of the young man whose life was tragically cut short by an act of unforgivable violence.

  5. Hi MG
I’m as shocked as everyone at what has happened in the last 24hrs R.I.P WOOLWICH HERO . I am at work but its very hard to focus today .

  6. I agree with you 100% about this inhuman terror attack. Animals are better than them. God help his family. I would like also to say your videos are helping me as a struggling learner trader, Thank you.

  7. i live in a small town which has a high military presence around it, and many friends in the forces past and present, it fills me with pride when the guys return from active service and march through the town, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and i am always close to tears, they always get a warm welcome. i also know families whose loved ones have not returned and i cant believe how they cope with it. i have visited the US on many occasions, and have always been impressed by how they treat their servicepeople, the general public that is. yesterdays horrendous scenes took me back to the eighties when 2 young squaddies monitering a funeral were dragged from a car, beaten and executed,in northern ireland, will it ever the heros is one of only a few charities i support on a regular basis. i could talk about this all day and hold strong views, but my thoughts are with the soldiers family, and why pictures of his body had to be shown is beyond me. i respect and applaud your blog today.

  8. I have close friends in the forces who’s sons are serving abroad,
my thoughts and prayers go to the family and friends of the soldier who died yesterday.
    Will it ever end.

  9. Hi MG,

Fully agree with your thoughts and feelings.

We need to protect these guys better, as they put their lives on the line to protect us abroad.

Under these circumstances, we need to have the death penalty available. Why should they rot in jail at the taxpayers expense????

  10. Focus is essential , and although i am in another country i do understand how you feel….
Human life is far more important than everything else.
My thoughts and prayers are with all those wich suffer from those kind of losses.
I just hope that someday all will be over and there will be no more need for those kind of military presence…
It would be a safer and more pleasent world….
I am unemplyed at the moment , but i will lend a hand to those who need and make a contribution, a small one , but if we all make small donations it will become a big donation….

    • Nothing , and really really nothing excuses this…. We are all victims , and no one deserves this….
I am against violence , because i do think it only generates more violence , but , what should be done to this person who did should a horrible act????

  11. Hi mg and yes mate emotional and angry are my own ways of feeling too,its a totally disgusting crime and my heart goes out to the family god knows what they must be feeling right now :(….. Last week we had church people knocking on doors and they were saying how great god and religion was and how everyone needed to be in touch with god , i asked why they thought like this and they replied if you want to go to heaven afterlife then trust in god if not then you will be left in hell with the devil,i asked what in their opinion did they think hell was and he looked at me with no answer so i told him my thoughts and what i think hell would be like, i told him we live in a world of pain and sorrow with child killers , murderer’s, war torn in many countries ,famine for many people in many places , religious hatred ,drug lords and corruption all around the world,we live in a world that is never safe no matter where you are with so many as he called them sinners lurking around every corner waiting to pounce on the innocent and the vulnerable,i told him that this world we live in now in my opinion was true hell and nothing could be worse than the hell we already live in and have to deal with everyday and that we could only ever go to a better place afterlife. He had no answer to what i said i thought and left very shortly afterwards but i truly believe that this world we live in now is the true hell what could be worse ?………. Keep well mate your a top guy .

  12. Well said MG I couldn’t have put it better myself!

All day today I kept thinking about the poor family of this young man who have watched this atrocity from their living room. It was one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen.

  13. MG, I am currently serving and have done for the last 15 years, including numerous eventful tours, but not once have I felt like I did yesterday. It was a strange feeling and I was completely overcome with emotion too and struggled to get through the day. Every time I’ve seen something I think nothing worse can happen now and something always does. I pray to God for that family and every young serviceman embarking on a new career in this generation because this is a different kind of war now and it is not restricted to the battlefield any more. God bless.
